Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. Her most well-known role is her role as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she took home the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in A Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. She fell in love performing in Preparatory School and then moved to Ohio and her family in mid-70s. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre and also attended the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for many years prior to trying out for film and TV roles. Anna's first role of note was Arden, in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. In the following years, she was guest stars on a number of television shows and films like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue until the late 90's. She was then cast on a regular basis in The Practice as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully was the Deadwood film, and a few other movies have also featured her. Gunn performed on stage in order to appear in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. In 2022 Gunn also played a role in a 4-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days.. The romance of Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the tale of Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise similar to the arc that was Walter White's last years of life.
