Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is a famous American actress. Kellie Martin has appeared in numerous TV shows, such as "Christy", the story of a girl known as Christy Huddleston. Kellie Martin is most famous for her part as the main character of the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin is the daughter of a department-store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her professional career as an actress at age seven, when her aunt who served as a nanny to Michael Landon's kids was able to help Martin to get her a character in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". When she graduated from Yale University she began to take acting seriously with roles that she was able to land on the small and large screen. Martin has also been a photographer and a dancer. As a mother to two kids, she has become the National spokesperson for Lupus. She has also promoted awareness of Lupus since the time her younger sister died in the age of 19.
